DRIVING SCHOOL POLICY


GUIDELINES

1. Given the nature of our lessons, signing up means you are personally reserving an instructor. Please do not sign up for a class and not show there are fees involved.


2. Be courteous of our INSTRUCTORS scheduled time. STUDENT is responsible for arriving on-time and ready to start scheduled lesson. If you arrive late for your appointment, we may not be able to extend lesson past the scheduled time and you will be charged for the entire lesson.


IF WE ARE LATE: Sometimes we run into hiccups, we will do our very best to notify you when this happens. To make it clear, If we are late to pick up STUDENT, student will receive FULL LESSON from pick up time.


3. To create a balanced environment CITY DRIVING SCHOOL does not allow for STUDENT to bring RIDE-ALONGS during lesson.


4. We teach our STUDENTS defensive driving skills. Their ability to learn within a certain time period may vary depending on the student’s abilities, and willingness to learn.


5. Payment and fees are due in full at the time of registration or class start time. There is a 3.5% transaction fee for all card payments. 


6. Our INSTRUCTORS have the RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE or stop the class at any time if STUDENT acts up in a behavior that interferes with an instructor's ability to teach: if any time remains it will not be honored (Parents will be notified if applicable).


7. FREEWAY DRIVING: The Department of Motor Vehicles does not require that Driver Training courses include driving on the freeway. I am aware that CITY DRIVING SCHOOL adheres to a strict policy of safety first. Therefore, I understand and agree that instructors have sole discretion to whether any lesson will include driving on the freeway.


8. DRIVING TEST FEES: STUDENT understands and agrees that there is an additional fee for each driving test taken and that there are no refunds for repeated tests. If minor, STUDENT further understand and agrees that it is their responsibility to present proof (certificates/ documents), that they have had at least six hours of Driver Training to the Department of Motor Vehicles.


9. We have taken HEALTH & SAFETY MEASURES for you- our STUDENT & our INSTRUCTORS- and we ask to follow our new protocol and kindly cooperate by keeping your face mask on during your lesson. INSTRUCTOR will clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in the vehicle at the beginning and end of lesson.

                                                                                                                                                                                                   

PLEASE NOTE, AN INHERENT RISK OF EXPOSURE TO COVID-19 CURRENTLY EXISTS IN ANY PLACE WHERE PEOPLE ARE PRESENT. COVID-19 IS AN EXTREMELY CONTAGIOUS VIRUS THAT CAN LEAD TO SEVERE ILLNESS AND DEATH. ACCORDING TO THE CDC, SENIOR CITIZENS AND PEOPLE WITH UNDERLYING MEDICAL CONDITIONS ARE ESPECIALLY VULNERABLE. BY OBTAINING OUR SERVICES YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS RELATED TO EXPOSURE TO COVID-19.

                                                                                                                                                                                                 

CANCELLATION POLICY

It happens to even the most dedicated students – sometimes, you just have to cancel a class without much notice at all. We want to help you balance your busy life, so we’ve made a clear cancellation policy to make it easier to get your driving classes set.


Here’s how it’ll work:

-You can cancel or re-schedule a class 48-hours in advance, with no additional fee's applied.


-If you do cancel or re-schedule a class less than 48-hours in advance, you’ll be charged $85 per late cancellation.


-If you don’t cancel and don’t show up to a class, you’ll be charged $85 per no-show.


                                                                                                                                                                                                 

SALES ARE FINAL

We try and offer you the best services possible. In order to do that, please be sure that you're booking the correct service and can attend classes and be able to use the services in the specified time allotted. We do not offer refunds of classes purchased. It is your responsibility to read our guidelines before purchasing. Non use of services are not grounds for a refund. In some instances, per our discretion we can apply a credit to your account.
